Breaking Generational Curses Academy (BGCA) is committed to empowering youth and communities by providing access to education, mentorship, and career development opportunities in the creative arts, media, sports, technology, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
Our mission is to break cycles of poverty, violence, and limited opportunity by equipping individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to build successful futures. Through hands-on training programs in areas such as film and television production, music production, acting, modeling, journalism, digital media, and youth sports development, BGCA creates positive pathways for young people to explore their talents while building discipline, leadership, and teamwork.
By partnering with platforms like ElevateTV.Network and ETF Entertainment, BGCA provides participants with opportunities to showcase their work, gain professional credits, and connect with industry professionals while promoting healthy lifestyles through sports and recreational programming.
We believe that when individuals are given the tools, mentorship, and opportunities to succeed, they can transform not only their own lives but also uplift their families and communities.

YOUTH & COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
🎤 Talk Show Hosting & Media Presentation
Students interested in being on camera will learn:
• Public speaking and on-camera confidence
• Talk show hosting techniques
• Interviewing guests
• News anchor and media presentation skills
• Developing their own show concepts
📰 Documentary & Journalism Media Training
Students will explore the world of journalism and storytelling through media, learning:
• Documentary filmmaking
• Investigative storytelling
• News reporting and field journalism
• Conducting interviews and gathering information
• Press coverage and media communication
Participants will practice producing news segments, interviews, and documentary-style stories.
🎵 BGCA Music Production & DJ Training Program
Welcome to the Breaking Generational Curses Academy (BGCA) Music Production Program, where we empower youth and aspiring artists with the essential skills needed to thrive in the modern music industry.
Our program is designed for beginners and emerging creatives who want to learn how to create, perform, record, and distribute music professionally.
Students will gain hands-on experience in:
• Recording high-quality vocals
• Writing and structuring original songs across multiple genres
• Understanding studio equipment and production software
• Building a personal artist brand
• Marketing and promoting music online
• Growing and engaging a fan base
• Distributing music on major streaming platforms
• Monetizing content through social media and digital platforms
Through mentorship and practical training, participants will learn how to turn their passion for music into real career opportunities.

🎥 Live Event Filming
Students will learn how to film and capture professional footage at live events and productions, including:
• Multi-camera event filming
• Red carpet interviews
• Behind-the-scenes coverage
• Stage performances and audience engagement
• Production coordination and event media coverage
This training prepares students to work on concerts, award shows, sports events, and community productions.
✍🏽 Script Writing & Character Development
Students will develop storytelling skills through:
• Script formatting and story structure
• Character creation and development
• Dialogue writing
• Storyboarding and scene planning
• Developing concepts for short films and TV programs
Participants will create original scripts that can be produced during the program.
📽 Introduction to Film Creation
Students will learn the foundation of filmmaking, including:
• Story development
• Camera operation and shot composition
• Lighting and sound basics
• Video editing and post-production
• Understanding production roles (director, producer, camera operator, editor)
Participants will work together to create short films and visual projects from concept to completion.
